Mon Accent was born from a simple dream:to give young people in Kenya access to languages and cultural knowledge that can transform their lives .Many opportunity in education , tourism and intercultural organizations are missed because of the language barriers and cultural disconnection .We are here to change that.

Our vision is a vibrant , connected, and prosperous West pokot where language and culture are powerful tools for economic growth, social harmony and global intergration .we envisioned a future in which every young person , regardless of background, has the skills and confidence to thrive in school , access jobs , attract investment and showcase the richness of pokot Culture to the world .

Our mission is to empower young people and communities in West pokot by bridging languages and culture.Through high-quality language education , Cultural preservation and skills training , Mon Accent seeks to open doors to education , tourism , international opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.we are committed to nurturing a generation that is proud of its heritage while beings confident in engaging with the wider world.

Why Mon Accent was started?

For years, many schools in kenya have taught languages, but something was missing:

Language learning felt foreign-students memorized grammer without connecting to daily life, jobs or culture.
local culture was ignored-heritage, storytelling and traditions were treated as “old” instead of being celebrated as a source of pride and tourism.
Opportunities ended in the classroom –students could speak a few phrases, but there was no link careers, international exchange or community development.

Mon Accent was started to fill this gap.

We are unique because we:

Intergrate global and local-we teach French , Engish German and kiswahili alongsite pokot language and traditions.
Link learning to opportunity-Our model connects , students to jobs in education, tourism, translation and cultural exchange.
